Play! Charitable Gaming Association is an Ontario not‑for‑profit organization that supports community benefit through regulated charitable gaming partnerships. We work within Ontario’s charitable gaming framework and municipal licensing requirements to facilitate funding for eligible community organizations.

Our Role

 

Play! Charitable Gaming Association supports the administration of charitable gaming partnerships that generate funding for local community programs and services. These partnerships operate under applicable laws, regulations, and oversight requirements.

Charitable Gaming Framework

​

Charitable gaming in Ontario is governed by provincial legislation, regulatory standards, and municipal licensing authorities. Participation by charitable organizations and volunteers is subject to eligibility requirements, training, reporting obligations, and ongoing compliance.

Play! Charitable Gaming Association operates within this framework to support transparency, accountability, and responsible administration of charitable gaming activities.

​

Our role is to provide coordination, support, and oversight consistent with established policies and procedures. We do not operate gaming activities independently and do not provide commercial services.

Community Focus

​

Funds generated through charitable gaming partnerships help support programs and services delivered by community organizations across Kingston and the surrounding areas. These funds contribute to a wide range of local initiatives that benefit residents and strengthen community capacity.

Governance and Accountability

​

As a not‑for‑profit organization, Play! Charitable Gaming Association is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and operates in accordance with its bylaws and applicable regulatory requirements. We are committed to responsible governance, clear procedures, and regulatory compliance.
